Areas of clinical interests in neurosurgery:

Cranial Surgery: tumors, vascular malformations, trigeminal neuralgia, epilepsy (awake surgery), trauma

Spinal Surgery: disc herniations, spinal stenosis, fractures and spinal deformity

  • Well versed in complex spinal instrumentation when necessary
  • specializing in motion preservation with the use of artificial discs in neck and low back
  • Strong advocate of minimally-invasive surgery to minimize recovery but achieve same goals as more complex surgery

Peripheral Nerve Surgery: carpal tunnel surgery, ulnar nerve decompression


Dr. Brown and his wife Terri enjoy traveling and are outdoor enthusiasts and enjoy hiking with their two chocolate Labrador retrievers
